Easy to use, fast response

This is an excellent scanner with a good ergonomic design. In can be placed on the index finger and activated with the thumb, or on the ring finger and activated by squeezing the fingers together. The ring finger is a little more difficult. The Velcro is easy to attach and detach. It is designed in such a way that it does not have to be removed from the hinge and reinserted. I love that it comes with a little booklet to scan the codes for setup. If you're an experienced handheld scanner user, you know how many times you have to go online, search DF, and print to set up your scanner the way you want it. However, the ASCII code table at the end of the book is formatted incorrectly. I tried a second scanner and it returns the hex code of the character, not the character itself. Another great feature of this scanner is that it is recognized as a scanner by Mac OS, so it doesn't prompt you when pairing with bluetooth be asked to enter a code. I have another scanner that is only recognized as a bluetooth keyboard in bluetooth and I need the numbers to barcode and pair. It comes with a dongle labeled Nano BT, but it must be a 2.4GHz receiver. When I plug it in, the computer thinks it's a keyboard. I couldn't get this mode to work on my Mac. Response times for 1D and 2D barcodes are amazingly fast. This is important when used in an industrial scenario with a high scan volume. There is sound feedback (with adjustable volume and frequency) as well as built-in vibration feedback, like a mobile phone. Very effective feedback mechanisms. This is a great little scanner.
