Suspected valve leak or leak
A cyclist friend and I bought two tubes as replacement tubes for our Trek FX3. Very easy to install. The problem is that every time it is inflated to around 80psi, the measured pressure drops to 60psi after a few hours. Both my friend and I faced the same problem. Also note that the Presta valve has a different configuration than the others. If the valve is not tightened enough, air will be released every time the top of the valve is touched. Not sure, although we think the valve is tight, it really isn't. Anyone have a similar experience with this tube?
