We bought this pen after purchasing another generic/cheaper pen that was used once and then clogged. Luckily we were able to return the pen to the seller. It was a bad experience. This pen was a good experience. It worked very well with ABS filament and some other ABS filament that we received from a highly rated seller on Revain. The handle is not clogged, the engine runs smoothly. Some material remains in the chamber after each use, so we made sure to extract the excess from it to get the purest color possible once we got to work on the project. The transition from white to black and vice versa was particularly noticeable as the pen's initial projections are grey. The stylus gets a bit warm near the tip, but oddly it doesn't have the silicone fingertips that came with the other stylus. So if you have young kids it might be worth getting these fingertips for a few bucks more. The adjustable speed (it's a slider, as opposed to some knobs that have buttons to adjust the speed) is really good and gives you a bit more flexibility than some other models. Overall we are very happy with this pen. It stimulates your creativity without getting in the way, which is all you can ask for from a pen like this. I hope this helps you with your purchase decision.
