I bought this stand for my first PS5 digital version and it seems to work, but I have bought it again for my PS5 disc version and always get it nor the notification that my game is overheating. I've been playing COD Cold War for many hours, so I need something that will protect my device from overheating until the device shuts down. I have no idea why it works for one and not the other when they are used at the same time for the same duration and playing the same game. The stand itself holds the PS well, I don't use the charging part of the controller at all so I can't comment. I'm returning the second one I bought.
