Your only option for this to work is to use a TRRS-TRRS cable, which is NOT included. As far as I can tell, the rest of the sound doesn't change. - It takes some time to remember to turn on the microphone before using it. - The battery life is excellent. I accidentally left it on overnight after shooting, only to come back 12 hours later to see the battery life has barely decreased. It charges via USB-C, and from my testing, it doesn't pick up any interference while working. Performance and use at the same time. Basically, I leave my windshield (not a dead cat) on all the time to reduce consonance when speaking. I've found that it also helps reduce the noise level in the room a bit. The included case is nice, but I'll probably never use it unless I'm packing a lot of gear and can find room for the case. Also, I will most likely only find a soft carrying case for it. The cold shoe mount feels a bit stiff. It doesn't really absorb or minimize the effect of external forces on the microphone. If you use this a lot on the go, I might consider upgrading or replacing it.
