This unit seems to work as advertised with Android phones and Chromebooks (I tried with a Google Pixelbook). However, it fails to connect to Apple laptops - I've tried an old MacBook Air from 2013 and a much newer MacBook Air M1 (2020) - in both cases the device connects, then immediately crashes, reboots and tries again, connecting, crashes, etc ad infinitum I bought it specifically to connect my Mac laptop to a wired speaker, hence the low rating. It's not the only star just because it still works with non-Apple devices.
