. I hung a very large and heavy towel on it about 20 hours later today. It holds the load very well. I have tried other lever suction hooks in the past but to no avail - they slipped off the load. These hooks are expensive in my opinion, but worth it if you have a complex application. The packaging is excellent, reliable protection without bursting. Two complaints: 1. I spent 2 hours trying and failing until I found out I had to remove the plastic wrap first! Mention this in guide 2. The guide is very poorly written. Contact me and I'll be happy to rewrite them for you. I hate it when a good product suffers from bad instructions.
