Non-functional, rigid, won't lay flat

I highly recommend these coasters. mine are in the trash. They are very nice so I didn't return them immediately but after coming to my senses I realized they didn't work. Non-absorbent, hard and deformed. People's drinks are actually tipped over because the stand is rocking back and forth.
