At this price I expected this hammock to last more than a couple of weeks. I have a 95lb German Shepherd so obviously I need something more permanent. The material that this hammock is made of definitely falls into this category, you can definitely say that it is durable. The worst thing about this hammock is the zips, the main zip is on the hammock itself and is designed so you can unzip the hammock and drop it one side down for a passenger to sit in, but the zips are very cheap ! When traveling the zipper would always come undone and my dog would fall through the hole, eventually so hard the zipper broke and now there is a huge dangerous hole for my big dog to fall into. I bought this hammock to replace a $20 hammock that I accidentally punctured and had a SMALL hole that bothered me too, but for now this hammock is much safer than this one. If you're like me, you thought this hammock would be nice because it costs a little more. Save money. The fabric is strong and durable, but the design flaws outweigh the benefits of its durable qualities. I really regret spending almost $60 on this product.
