My baby hated regular diapers that tied his arms. He still needs protection from the startle effect and nails. This is the perfect diaper for him. It allows some movement with the arms, but keeps the elbows in a chicken wing-like position, preventing them from waking up with fright. The position of the mittens protects his face from scratches until his motor control improves. We can use the diaper as a comfortable blanket after he learns to roll over. Mittens open for hands free. Note: 5* for warmth because I don't want to downvote in the review. This wrap is a summer fair. The thickness is the same as a high quality t-shirt.
