Description of 👶 SwaddleDesigns Transitional Swaddle Sack: The Ultimate Sleep Solution for Babies at Home

THE IDEAL TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE. LITTLE SLEEVES with BIG PURPOSE. When parents close the mitten cuffs on the 1/2-length sleeves, the uniquely-shaped sleeves will provide partial suppression of the Moro (Startle) Reflex, and if baby rolls over on to tummy, baby can use their arms to lift upper body and reposition head to get access to air, which makes the TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE SACK a SAFER SLEEP OPTION. THE TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE SACK IS DESIGNED TO BRIDGE THE GAP FROM SWADDLING TO WEARABLE BLANKET. When baby is ready to transition from a swaddle, but not ready for a sleeveless wearable blanket, the Swaddle Sack is a great option to (1) keep baby snug and warm, (2) allow baby the use of his or her arms, and (3) allow baby to self-soothe by sucking on his or her hands. FOLDOVER MITTEN CUFFS MAY BE WORN OPEN OR CLOSED, parents can open the cuffs, so baby can SELF-SOOTHE, or close the cuffs to PROTECT BABY FROM FACIAL SCRATCHES. UNIQUELY SHAPED ARMS UP HALF-LENGTH SLEEVES with mitten cuffs will keep baby's arms close to body, but within reach of mouth. THE TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE SACK IS PERFECT FOR BABIES WHO PREFER TO SLEEP WITH ARMS UP. Swaddle Sack supports baby in a back sleeping position, allowing for multiple arm and hand positions to help baby sleep better. INNOVATIVE 2-way zipper. Premium Cotton Knit. Small 6-14 lbs, 0-3 months; Medium 14-21 lbs, 3-6 months. US Patent D833,613.

Better than dream love!

I bought this diaper because it was a lot cheaper than the Love To Dream Raised Arms diaper. We like this material because it's soft and of good quality. It's great that you can use it as a transitional diaper! My son calms down immediately once in his and we are currently switching with one hand and he is doing a great job with this product! Highly recommended.

  • Good thing

The perfect sleeping bag after changing clothes!

My daughter is 3 months old, although she hasn't turned around yet I knew she would be soon! She kept pulling out of the diaper and waking up. This makes her snuggly and cozy but gives her hands the freedom to stand up and comfort herself by bringing her hands to her mouth. We ended up buying 3 more! It's worth it, I like it even better than the transitional changing dream.

Doesn't work as expected

Before I bought this swaddle I was looking for a transitional swaddle for my baby. It has a significant bug that makes it almost unusable. The sleeves are specifically designed to be 3/4 length, but this feature allows the neck to fit snugly around baby. So you cannot close the hand holes without making the swaddling process very uncomfortable and potentially dangerous as it cuts into the baby's neck.

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Yes it is for me! for kindergarten

Bought at 9 weeks after my baby accidentally rolled over one day. Someone in one of the mamas I'm in posted this. When I first put it on her she hated it. The second time she fell asleep immediately and slept through the night. Her motor reflex was terrible, but this sleeping bag helped. She is now 12 weeks old and still uses it to sleep and nap. Help mom get a good night's sleep for the first time! I even bought one to leave with my mom if she stays there during the day while I go to work.

Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Suitcases are the best!

My kid loves this thing! This is a great transition from the diaper. She loves having her hands free but at 8 weeks she discovered her hands and started compulsively putting them in her mouth to the point where she couldn't sleep because she was using her hands to support herself! The little mittens at the end solved this problem and she sleeps 6-8 hours a day without a break. I like that the mittens fold up so you don't have to cover your hands. Just the right amount of tightness with room for

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

Great replacement for Love To Dream diaper

My baby sleeps so well in this diaper! He loves to sleep with his arms raised and we tried so many diapers until we found one that worked for him (Dream Love Wrap). But as soon as he started rolling over, we had to stop being swaddled in love. That's where this beauty comes in. Thanks to the flexible design of the handcuffs, he can safely roll over and sleep on his stomach in this diaper. And value! This diaper costs less than half of Traumliebe and other expensive diapers.

  • Makes me angry

Perfect fit for my baby with arms raised.

My baby hated regular diapers that tied his arms. He still needs protection from the startle effect and nails. This is the perfect diaper for him. It allows some movement with the arms, but keeps the elbows in a chicken wing-like position, preventing them from waking up with fright. The position of the mittens protects his face from scratches until his motor control improves. We can use the diaper as a comfortable blanket after he learns to roll over. Mittens open for hands free. Note: 5* for…

Pros
  • Durable surface
