The problem everyone has is that the connector design itself sucks, especially for this application. Samsung should have used the larger, more durable 1/4" connector found on most laptops. When my factory power cord plug was new, it fit snug and tight. Hole, and you have to pull the cord up to get around connecting it to power.I found half the problem wasn't the plug but the socket inside the tablet which was also loose. The new power connector at least allows me to plug it in and get power when I need it leave it alone and don't pick up the tablet. This power cord works fine, it's not my fault it's plugged into a compromised receive port. It could be verified by trying this power cord on the new Galaxy View
