Review on EAG Front Bumper With LED Lights For 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ, Easy To Assemble by Brandon Vox

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Powder coating came scratched

I bought this to match the rear one I also bought a week ago. This one came extremely fast I believe it only took 3-4 days. I’m going to install it tomorrow and update this review. Okay you can install this by yourself if you put the middle piece on then your sides(it comes in 3 sections). I don’t know if it was the delivery driver or eag themselves but mine came messed up the powder coating was all scratched bare metal showing. I guess that’s fine for me I’m raptorlining my whole Jeep I guess I’ll do the bumpers too. But for spending all this money you’d expect a decent product. It is a easy install and direct fit. Here’s the bad part they don’t tell you. Not even in the instructions. So when you have it installed you’ll know test the end caps are hanging off not flush with the fenders. Well when you took your factory bumper off there was a 10mm on each side at the end of the fender holding it up. You’ll have 2 13mm nut and bolt unused. This for you to drill threw your new bumper. Yes it doesn’t come pre drilled who would of thought right. Have fun doing this it is possible to make it flush and look somewhat decent. I gave it a 3 because my powder coated ends came all scratched and they didn’t mention that you’d be drilling into your brand new bumper. Also, if you had factory fog lights, throw the harness, relay and switch assembly they send you away wire it into your oem fog light wires save yourself time and a headache.

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION - EAG modular front bumper is engineered to be a direct bolt-on upgrade replacement for your vehicle original stock bumper reusing the factory mounting points.
Cons
  • The added weight of the bumper may cause the vehicle to become less fuel-efficient, leading to additional expenses
