I gave myself a small budget to upgrade my truck and in the end it was my "just like that" choice. I just wanted some red lights to give my interior a cool look at night and stumbled across these. I used the cigarette lighter on the center console and took it apart to hide all the wire. The controller box is mounted where only I can see it and I used sticky velcro to place the remote in an accessible but not visible spot. Man I was worried about looking like a 2F2F plagiarism and far from it. The cable provides enough length between lights and the 3m strap keeps them securely in place. Plan your run, hide the cords, and best of all, they stay in the last selected color/mode when you turn them on. I mostly ride it in muted red, but the other colors/modes are fun with friends. For this money you won't regret if you take the time to hide the wires.
