
Good heat, handy extra tips, makes soldering easier by holding on. What I learned: Don't use solder wire that is too thin or it may bind or break. Also, don't force the feeding tip to cover the tip of the iron, even if it's not touching it can get hot enough to soften the solder and it will stick to the tip and stop feeding. The solder that comes with the kit hasn't been tested, I like leaded solder (bad I know, but soldering is better).
