Review on Efficient Potty Training: EverNary Dog Door Bell - Wireless Touch Button Doggie Doorbell with Waterproof Dog Bells, Receiver & Transmitters by Laura Crawford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As described, plus individual ringtone for each station!

In general, I am very satisfied with the purchase.1. Shipping - 5 stars - I chose free shipping and received this item within 2 days as expected with no problems. It came in a Revain.2 bubble wrap. Packaging - 5 Stars - All parts arrived in a box with dividers: no dents in box, no damage to individual parts inside - all parts were well protected and couldn't chip/scratch due to the construction of the box which was good. At first I was concerned that the transmitters would drain the battery in transit, but the chances of something accidentally pressing the touch "button" are very slim. Everything was easy to take out of the packaging and I'm very happy that there wasn't a lot of unnecessary packaging to throw away.3. Product - 5 stars: As described, I received: 1 receiver, 2 transmitters (batteries included and already installed), 4 double-sided tapes, a mini screwdriver (to open the transmitters if the batteries need to be replaced) and instructions. . The quality was good. No rough edges, no protruding parts that could hurt my dog or my hands. No far-fetched feeling; worth my $30. Function: Everything was ready to go, as soon as I plugged the receiver into the wall, I didn't have to open and install any batteries or anything else. The manual was easy to understand, so I figured out how to "pair" my transmitters to the receiver (pretty easy - basically press the first button on the receiver until you hear a beep, then press the transmitter). Receiver lights up when connected, transmitter flashes blue when activated. It's not a motion sensor and there's no sound when you hit the edges - you have to press gently on the central area. So the pooch needs some exercise, but at least I won't be hearing the doorbell every few minutes. There were actually many different ringtones to choose from, more than the preloaded phone ringtones lol - I didn't count if there were 55 but I liked that the ringtones were quite varied in terms of musical style (an ode to joy , to whom? :)) and in duration. I was able to adjust the volume, and while silent mode doesn't quite work for me, I think I could turn it off at night if I don't want to be disturbed. I also checked the distance: I don't think I checked 800 feet because my house isn't that big, but I checked by holding the phone on the 2nd floor and pressing the button on the ground floor outside my front door - that's how it is. At least it works like a normal doorbell and works through the wall and through the door. Surprise feature: The seller didn't put that in the product description, but I figured it out from the instructions and thought it was super cool: you can choose a ringtone for one station first, and then a different ringtone for the other if you like. So basically, if I use it as a real doorbell, my dog or human could tell me by sound which door I should open, be it the front door or the patio door, for example. Second, I think you could potentially buy more transmitters and pair them with a receiver. I don't know the maximum number of transmitters that can be paired with one receiver, I haven't tried it myself, but based on manual instructions I think more than two is possible. Final Thoughts: I thought it was pretty clever that the transmitters have a strap hole (so people can hang it around their necks). FYI, the strap isn't included, but it's easy to buy (and grandma/kid will probably want to pick a pattern). The face/cartoon on the channel is a bit silly in my opinion, but my dog doesn't care so I won't pick on that. The battery is a bit odd, about half the length of an AAA, but I found 5 batteries on the Revain. for $7, so glad it won't be a problem.
