So, the booklet that comes with this device explicitly explains all the possible symbols and indications that you can get on the display screen. I kept getting "Lo" which apparently means I'm dead because it means my body temperature is too low to accurately measure. I even checked my niece several times and she is 11 months old - also "Lo". It looks of great quality and looks like a device that should be able to do what it promises. But that's not my experience. Kind of disappointed. However, it has interesting features such as storing up to 10 previous measurements, choosing between body temperature or surface temperature. The actual crap cannot be measured at all.
