It was really fun! I guess grout cleaning isn't meant for fun, but I enjoyed using my husband's drill for the first time in my life, and the attachment quickly cut through the four-year-old dirt that was rubbed into the grout . Despite purchasing a chemical grout cleaning spray, I ended up using plain white vinegar after one of my dogs stepped on the chemical grout spray. In the photo, this entire area was cleaned with just vinegar and a drill bit, and my son and husband helped with a regular grout brush. (FYI, the grout *needs* to be dampened with vinegar or some other cleaner or it won't work. I've tried plain water and tried dry as an experiment, and neither works). Interestingly, a regular grout brush and this drill worked equally well. I would say the only difference is that the exercise was more fun and saved me a lot of "elbow fat". I recommend it!
