I don't have this particular book, but there is another by the same author. and it has the same patterns. Explanations and descriptions are terrible. I have to look closely at the diagrams I've drawn to try to make sense of what I couldn't understand with words. When no drawings were available I had to turn to YouTube for help. Seriously, here's an excerpt from reading your work: [If you look at the stitch on the left needle, the stitch is almost done, you'll see the stitch goes up and down the needle. Now look up and down the base of the loop. Is the base a half "V" or a bulge?] This is a separate paragraph. So I paid $12 (retail price) for the starter kit. Yarn, needles and a useless book.
