I'm studying art, I'm taking a drawing course, so of course I need a portfolio to carry around with me. On the first day of class, I carry my portfolio to class with a pad of newspaper in it, and one of the straps on the handle breaks. I tried to get to class before any other damage was done but 2 of the remaining 3 straps on the handle broke before I did. Not only can the handles support 3 pounds of weight, but the briefcase is made of fragile plastic. I recommend spending a little more money to get a more durable briefcase made from heavy-duty fabric.
