I took the key fob to my local Ram dealer to program the key on my 2016 Ram 1500 and it works 100%! They even programmed the remote start to the x2 button and that works too! The retailer warned me that programming from a third party fob doesn't always work. Before purchasing, make sure you have the correct FCC ID for the vehicle. I'm so glad I was able to do this for a lot less than buying from a dealer which would have cost over $200. Yes, and there was a key inside (the valet key) that had to be cut to make it work on the car doors.
