Works perfectly! for remote start

Gave the key to the dealer and he warned me that I will have to pay even if the key doesn't work. I think this sometimes happens with non-OEM keys. Well, there is NO PROBLEM. Works as it should and costs significantly less than the dealer bought option. (about $130 less). Thanks very much!

  • Hands free operation

Works great on 2014 RAM

. I took it to a local locksmith and for $40 they programmed it for my 2014 RAM 3500. They haven't had any problems with it and it works great. Looks like an OEM from the outside (but the OEM circuit board doesn't fit inside)

Pros
  • . Great for a small house
Cons

Excellent FOB even with low price.

Perfect replacement for a lost key fob for my 2014 Ram 1500 Lonestar. The price couldn't be better and the locksmith had no problem programming the remote. All buttons work perfectly and the remote control is surprisingly well made. Would definitely buy again for another replacement. Works for about 3 months and without any problems.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Almost OK

Works great! - Interior

I took the key fob to my local Ram dealer to program the key on my 2016 Ram 1500 and it works 100%! They even programmed the remote start to the x2 button and that works too! The retailer warned me that programming from a third party fob doesn't always work. Before purchasing, make sure you have the correct FCC ID for the vehicle. I'm so glad I was able to do this for a lot less than buying from a dealer which would have cost over $200. Yes, and there was a key inside (the valet key) that had…

Just as good as OEM and I was able to program myself with AlfaOBD

This key ring looks almost exactly like my original key ring except for the logo on the back. The internal circuitry is almost identical. The seller or locksmith charged over $200 for a new one. I bought this, bought an MX+OBD scanner and AlfaOBD Android app and now I can program as much as I want for my RAM 1500. You need a PIN from the dealer but most dealers will give you one for it for free, or you can buy another app that will scan them without contacting the retailer. I did it all for…

  • Absolutely amazing!

worked great best in interior design

I bought this remote control. The dealership charged $250 for programming or $375 for a new key. To program this you will need to pay a dealer or locksmith to do it, or you can do it yourself. If you choose to do this yourself you will need a 4 digit code for your truck and software to program your vehicle. The dealer was supposed to give you the pin for free, but my dealer wouldn't. I found something called Pinpuller ($20) on Google Play that gave me the code. I had a Bluetooth OBD reader that

It didn't fit, but I made it.

The key fob was too big for the keyhole in my truck and there were no programming instructions, so I watched a dozen instructional videos that were either incredibly inappropriate or overly technical. -Depth. My original key fob has issues with tiny activation pads staying in place on the circuit board and there is some sticky goo in the key fob case. The original owner was 10x the legal tint limit, so dark it was impossible to see through the windows during the day, so who knows what he did…
