The key fob was too big for the keyhole in my truck and there were no programming instructions, so I watched a dozen instructional videos that were either incredibly inappropriate or overly technical. -Depth. My original key fob has issues with tiny activation pads staying in place on the circuit board and there is some sticky goo in the key fob case. The original owner was 10x the legal tint limit, so dark it was impossible to see through the windows during the day, so who knows what he did with these keychains. I ended up turning it into a Frankenstein by carefully removing the sticker from the new circuit board that the button actuators were attached to and placing it on my old circuit board with the new button circuit board and installing it in my old case. Works great and didn't cost me the $350 the vampires wanted at the dealer. So a little work and overall success. I will buy another for my other key and repeat the sticker/button replacement process. I would recommend it as a spare to anyone with key fob problems, but not as a worthy replacement, mainly due to the poor keyhole fit.
