This is the second pair of short fins I've tried and I really like them. The sizing seems to be based on men's feet, so I found them a bit wider. for US shoe size 8-9. The fin is made of hard plastic to capture water very efficiently and the front flap is flexible to increase impact force. The shoe part has a small tab at the back to make it easier to put on. There's also a buckle to adjust the size, so I just slip my feet into the leg opening and then tighten the straps. Fins are ideal for diving. Very comfortable and easy to put on. Very smooth stepping motion glides smoothly through the water. I feel like I'm flying when I swim in it!
