The outer diameter of the foam cylinder filter is smaller than the original filter. This shouldn't be a problem as the airflow is still completely blocked, but it probably means the filter will become dirty faster. around it shouldn't be a problem. Snapping the lid into place also required some effort. Not sure if it's because the old rubber seal wears/compresses over time compared to the new one. I'll try to update this with a long term report after some time of use.
