I ordered this adapter to attach to a 120mm CPU cooler. My CPU cooler failed and I had to order and install a new one. I ordered a new 140mm high speed fan from Noctua to fit between the rear case opening of a 120mm radiator to push air, so I needed this adapter. I have a fan in the radiator. For your information. They give you 4 fan screws but no mounting screws. I used #6 x 3/4 inch mounting screws and cut them to length. Works great. Doesn't rattle, fits perfectly.
