I bought this for my home theater and wanted to use the 1/8" audio jack as my projector doesn't have an optical output. After installing and hiding the cables, I found that the only way to use this in my setup was to route the cable to the front and tape it just below the display. otherwise it goes into the garage as an FM radio. Already had to replace the 1/8th line because as I walked past it caught on the cable and broke the part that went into the speaker. I don't know how many of these the jack can take, but at least once.
