This remote cannot program or communicate with my Viper remote. My current worn out old short range remote can be reprogrammed by simply pressing any button. I spent hours watching YouTube making sure I read the instructions correctly, nothing works. Contact seller for assistance. "Technical Support" is calling my company or my cell phone. The seller's "technical support" then explained that both of my numbers were "blocked" and they should probably be returned. I think it might be a scam, since I was watching youtube someone mentioned that it's almost impossible to program a single sided viper remote if it's an older version but I haven't tried it open to see which version of this remote , as if I was planning to return it.
