So far so good. I'm a professional musician with 26 years of experience and I have 1964 Qi U12 molded headphones and a pair of Ultimate Ears U18 headphones. They sound better than the 1964 headphones for one reason: they have 6 more speakers than the U12, but they both sound fantastic. I only use them for gigs that are profitable enough to replace if something happens to them. HAHAHAHAHAHA I won't even try to compare these headphones to 1964 or UE. Not even in the same galaxy, but I have a $160 pair. Dollar Weston and when I tell you it sounds WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA better! You sound a lot better. Not even close. They have better lows and cleaner mids and highs. I would oscillate between 6k - 12k for the highs and 70hz for the sub, 175hz for the lows and 400hz - 800hz for the mids. The only advantage Westone has over this device in my opinion is the build quality and comfort on the ear. The Westone cable is really short, this one is a bit longer, but I always use a 3.5mm extension that is beveled on the plugs to get the extra length I need. This monitor delivers clear and high-quality sound in a split second. Price. Remember I just received them so I will be testing them in the coming weeks and will do a follow up in about a month. However, if you are looking for good in-ear headphones for little money, you have come to the right place. Save your money! Because in most cases, you are paying for the name and the advertising that the company uses to promote its product. The sound is mostly no better, and in this case with Westone. Unless you're into high-end industry gigs, stay away from sculpted ears, as you can buy 40 of them for the price you pay for one. It's not worth it unless you're playing the kind of gigs that require top-end in-ear headphones. Oh yes, the package arrived 2 days after the guaranteed delivery date!
