The unit price is a little higher than my Walmart store, but Walmart is very, very limited in offering not only this product, flavor etc. but also other types of food for cats for good reason. Last year I really liked this brand of beef and chicken because I feed cats of different breeds and ages and they love it, especially chicken. Not a lot of fish flavors so I currently only buy chicken. The cat I fed beef was a stray cat Tom and he left so he doesn't need beef and he liked the chicken too. I have yet to find a cat that I feed that doesn't like the taste of chicken. Like I said, they all love chicken. For larger and older cats that only show up a few times a week, I feed two containers in a block. For younger cats, I feed one of two containers, which makes up one portion of food. Portions are just the right size to feed one unit or both at the same time. Individual fit for each cat between portions and tastes. There is another issue that is important to older animal lovers or those with less strength in their arms and shoulders. These food containers are smaller, durable plastic containers with tinfoil glued on and the foil tab pulled back, type up. Everything is very well made and glued. It can be a bit tricky to push back the top of the foil to get the product out and for the most part I have no issues with the lack of power. The smell is also very pleasant for cat food in my opinion. And because of the portion size, there's no need to keep leftovers in the fridge.
