Review on 🚗 SCOSCHE MAGVNT2 MagicMount Magnetic Vent Mount Holder for Vehicles - Black by Jason Burnside

I rarely write reviews but after reading all the bad reviews about it I felt like I had to say something. All of our trucks are equipped with MagicMount Pro Dash mounts. However, if one of the trucks breaks down and we need to rent it, we use the universal MagicMount vent mount so drivers still have a way to mount their phones. These things have been installed and removed from trucks more times than I can count and they still work great. We have Volvo, Freightliner and International trucks and work with all of them. These things worked so well I bought 2 of these to use in our cars. This is where the 4-star rating comes into play. I found one downside with these mounts; they are not quite universal, they do not fit all air vents! I have a 2014 Ford Fusion and a 2004 Ford F-350, my relatives have a 2004 Chevy Impala and a 2005 GMC Jimmy and they all work great. My wife has a 2007 Ford Expedition and my father-in-law has a 2012 Ford F-450 and they don't work on any of them. The Expedition and F-450 vents are basically the same and way too thick. When I tried to install it on the Expedition, one of the brackets holding the vent in place broke. I recommend MagicMount to everyone I know and several friends and family have purchased mounts for their cars. My advice: If you're looking to buy one of these mounts, be sure to check the thickness of the vents before you buy. This is not one size fits all and will only work with thinner vents.
