I bought it for traveling. It has a plugin type that actually works better in most outlets. I love that it has all USB ports and plugins. I bought short USB cables for this. The only problem I had was that I was hoping that if I bought a Type-C chord for Type-C, my Motorola Z-Force 2 phone would get a turbo. Unfortunately it isn't. I will still use it. It's on my desk at home right now, I use it there and then I plan to take it with me when I travel. It is ideal for airports and hotel rooms. There are always not enough plug-ins to charge my tablet, Kindle, headphones and phone. I like that I don't have to carry a separate charger for each one.
