I have an old Dell computer and wanted to add some SSD drives. Issue: Dell* ONLY includes enough SATA power connectors out of the box - instead of replacing the PSU with a generic PSU (which has more power connectors) and knowing that I wouldn't overwhelm the power requirements by using an SSD, I got this performance adapters . / expanders. A PS SATA power connector connects to this cable and provides (4) evenly spaced SATA power connectors for additional drives approximately 2" apart. Plug in cables, plug in my SSDs and off you go. No problem. Sometimes a simple solution solves problems easily and at low cost. This is one of those tools.
