I bought this coat for my daughter who usually comes in L to XL for women and I would say her shoulders are wider. I think I bought XL in this jacket and it fits perfectly. Arm length is not short. She's probably around 5'5 or 150 if that helps with height. The jacket is smooth and very warm without adding bulk. My kid wore both the outer cover and the inner cover separately as fall coats. She's also worn it in the rain and it's water repellent. To be honest this jacket is on par with very expensive winter coats from well known brands, if not better without the cost. Also, I bought it from a warehouse so it was literally brand new. That's it, great coat!
