Review on BraceAbility Thumb Splint: Immobilize & Stabilize Thumb Joints for Arthritis, Trigger Thumb, Tendonitis & Sprain Relief - Small Right by Epickson Palma

Overpriced product for what it is and/or contains

I really like that it immobilizes my "MCP hinge" that's why I bought it so that it would at least serve its function, the movement of my thumb. That it's not afraid of water is a plus, but wearing an orthotic without the black forearm it comes with is quite uncomfortable. Mainly because the edges are poorly finished and/or can have a smooth bevel (beveled edge) as opposed to a straight edge which is sharp enough to be a nuisance, so the waterproof aspect of the staple is somewhat lacking in that regard is controversial. Mainly because of the soft adhesive strips that are unlikely to withstand frequent exposure to moisture. Maybe they could add some addons to solve this problem. Same with the armrest, mine arrived yesterday but it was frayed right out of the box. I would definitely buy an extra pair if I had the opportunity, even just for extra hygiene because I don't like wearing a dirty pair of socks two or three days in a row. If I were their designer I would definitely change the design to include an outer soft shell as the hard plastic will scratch/scratch things it comes in contact with. So at least the high price will be justified. I would definitely buy an extra pair if I had the opportunity, even just for extra hygiene because I don't like wearing a dirty pair of socks two or three days in a row. And after two days of use, the case is already full of holes and falling apart. What is this quality?
