Update: I had to upgrade to a microATX case with a floppy disk drive and now the microATX board doesn't have room in the microATX case an adaptor. This product was almost impossible to remove. I nearly damaged the motherboard and luckily the USB port still works after I had to unplug the thing. As already mentioned, suitable for a microATX board in an ATX case. Not for an ATX board in a medium ATX case or a microATX board in a microATX case. Original: Ideal for a microATX motherboard in a medium sized case as there is space under the motherboard so the cable is not blocked by the case. The larger ATX mainboard had no more space for the adapter in the medium-sized case. I wish the adapter was deeper.
