Pretty annoying. I ordered and installed a fan motor and waited for it. Should have been a 30 second install. Any engineer who did that should get a slap in the face. As you can see from my photos, the part is only vaguely similar, it's not attached to the fan, and the bracket doesn't even come close to matching the original. Oddly enough, I wired everything up and it works mechanically, but because the resistor can't be inserted into the hole. it's useless anyway. I can try to make my own mount. If I am successful I will update my results.
