It's not as strong as I would like it to be, the cardboard inside is thinner than the normal cardboard used to store stools. It was pretty easy to assemble and has a good capacity when you use it for shoes, especially small children's shoes. My only downside is that the top looks really bad. The way it sticks to the top when you put the lid on looks bad. It needs to be cardboard on all corners, not just cardboard on the top cover, but on the sides that go down the ottoman it's just canvas material that stretches to fit around it. Terrible, they have a cardboard sleeve, not just one piece.
