It is in order? for body

First of all, I'm surprised that only one company produces non-original shift knobs for 8-speed automatics. There appears to be a fairly large market for custom knobs for these transmissions. The handle itself is very well made as it is a solid piece of aluminium. Processing and processing are very well done. I'm not particularly keen on how the cap attaches to the pen as it uses an o-ring and friction fit. On my initial install, the o-ring popped out of the groove when I pushed the cap into the grip. The O-ring is pretty loose. I thought about going to the parts store and looking for another o-ring with a slightly smaller diameter to see if it would work better. Instead, I put the lid in the freezer for about an hour. After that, I was able to fully insert the cap into the pen with no issues. It feels pretty premium, but keep in mind that the shifter is still a plastic assembly, so it doesn't feel like a solid metal-to-metal mechanical connection. Due to the larger diameter of the knob compared to the stock knob, you will find more play in the shift mechanism than before. After all, appearance is a purely subjective matter. I'm not a big fan of the cap face. The shape of the handle almost resembles a faucet handle. I have a feeling that a nicely finished finish or something like that would give the pen a more stylish look. Perhaps instead of finger combs, someone could make a grip with nicely machined knurling (similar to the rubber portion of a standard pen) and a machined or polished aluminum cap to better match HLK grips. After all, it's a $50 pen. It looks different than a standard pen, but doesn't really have a different function. It does not match anything in the interior and tasteless IMHO. Would I buy it again? Most likely not Quality - 5/5 Installation - 5/5 Appearance - 3/5 Cost - 3/5
