I have a Honda Rebel and need a small bag for my raincoat, phone and insurance papers while driving. Other drivers have recommended a magnetic tank bag. After seeing in the Q&A section that it would stay safe on the freeway without a windshield, as well as good reviews, I decided to give it a try. It matched all of my gear perfectly and stayed in place until I was on the freeway and accelerating past 50, at which point it started to slip. I stopped and saw that the magnets had folded into each other instead of staying attached to the tank. At this point, I was closer to my destination than I was home, so I leaned against the seat of my tank hoping it could get a better grip on the surface. I was able to lean on it with my weight to run the last 10 miles. After stopping, I looked at the photos again to make sure I had placed them correctly and reproduced exactly what other customers had done. I pushed the bag to make sure it was safe and then went home. In fact, as soon as I was on the freeway and dialed 60, the bag suddenly slipped down to my foot, I was able to stop it with my knee, pull it to the side of the road and put it next to the seat so I could lean on it. Although it was pure luck. If I hadn't reacted in time, it could easily have turned into a disaster for me. This bag is an accident waiting in the wings. Should not be sold to serious drivers or anyone who cares about their safety.
