Don't travel without it

Cool thing! Harley Sportster 1200 2016. Made our trip easier. The bag held up in hot/cold weather, got caught in some rain but stayed dry, magnets make it easy to take the bag off the tank and take it with you, but also holds up at 85mph. The pen was mentioned in other reviews. For us it was no problem at all. We turned to the bag, handle down toward us, and it stayed in place. It contained a lot. Loved being able to follow the GPS through the clear screen and the touchscreen still worked on my

the size is perfect. The reason I give it three stars is because.

I carry my lunch to work in this bag when I ride my motorcycle. The size is perfect for this purpose. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because the engineer who designed the grip obviously doesn't ride a motorcycle. I can't think of any possible reason why they would make a handle with a hard plastic cap to hold the bag pressed against the gas tank while I'm driving. After just one ride, it left slight marks on the clear coat of my tank. I wrapped it in gorilla tape to soften it and…

What is good. From the look of

First of all, this isn't a Coleman, which is good. From the looks of it, I assumed it was Maddog, and it is. This is BIG news as they make excellent tank bags and at this price point are an absolute steal! Big size on my CB500X. Perfect for phone, charger, flashlight, wallet, glasses, gloves, etc. It's roomier than you might think. Next the most important thing. The clear "map" screen is capacitive. Yes, you control your fancy phone through sealed plastic. Just great. I survived a decent rainy…

Value for money accessory

Good case. It's small, but that's to be expected since it's a tank bag and not a rear pack. Actually more than I expected based on some comments and photos. I can put a lot of small things in it and even a couple of well-folded shirts if they're a bit lumpy. The materials used are of good quality and I find the magnets strong up to 100km/h and under heavy acceleration. I didn't go faster than 100mph and I have a small windshield bikini on my bike so I can't tell how it could have been any…

I recommend - with modifications

I bought for my Harley FLTHK. I knew the unique design of the raised center console (which extends to the seat) could cause problems securing a bag. I was right. The bag attaches to the tank, but the magnets in the center don't stick (there's enough metal on the center console to work). As a result, only the magnets in the flaps on the tank stick. Because the center console lifts the bag onto the tank, the magnets in the side flaps have little effect. So I got my wife's sewing kit and carefully

Unsafe and poorly constructed

I have a Honda Rebel and need a small bag for my raincoat, phone and insurance papers while driving. Other drivers have recommended a magnetic tank bag. After seeing in the Q&A section that it would stay safe on the freeway without a windshield, as well as good reviews, I decided to give it a try. It matched all of my gear perfectly and stayed in place until I was on the freeway and accelerating past 50, at which point it started to slip. I stopped and saw that the magnets had folded into each…

YOU HAVE A JOB! on tank bags

Magnets are VERY weak. About 30 seconds into entering the freeway, while I was still on a long turn, the bag started flying. I caught it with my left hand just in time and barely managed to keep my bike on track to get through the curve onto the freeway, but it was scary. I'll add some magnets to make it functional. Also, it's the front of my tank that's pushed as close to the double-bubble windshield as possible so it doesn't seem like it's taking all the power out of the freeway wind. If it…

Great tank bag how to keep the handle in place

This is the perfect tank bag for me and my V-Star. The speedometer and headlights are built into the top of the tank, allowing any large pocket to cover the required dash panels. At first I was disappointed because I was able to easily remove this bag from the tank, but when it's down it was very secure. Since then it has handled speeds of up to 90+ miles per hour. There is a small zip pocket at the top that I put my work/house keys in. I use the main compartment pocket to store the LCP and the

Great little bag for every day!

I've had this bag for almost a week now and love it! It's a little small so it doesn't fit a lot of stuff, but it's definitely big enough for a quick commute or daily commute. As you can see from the photos, I made some changes to it almost immediately, but I'm doing it for a reason. The zippers are shiny metal tabs that are fine most of the time, but I prefer something I can actually grab hold of, even with gloves on. So I replaced them with paracord loops which I also color coded. I've also…
