I got what I expected
First, small batteries mean short life. I really can't shout too loud that they only last 3 days. it's better than i expected. What I did was order 3 AA battery packs, do some wiring and solder the pack to replace the internal batteries and now they work. Well I don't know, they've been on for two weeks now and they're still very bright. It takes a little effort to update MacGyver, but I'm very happy with the results.
