I bought these bulbs for the outdoor lighting of my home in the hope that they would turn my existing lights into automatic dusk till dawn lighting. For real. Simply replace your regular light bulb with one of these and your outdoor light will become an automatic light from dusk to dawn. This is exactly what I was hoping for, which is why my sisters and I bought these for the ranch, along with headlight bulbs that also contain photocells. This is a brilliant idea and very easy to use. Now we've turned outdoor lights that usually need to be turned on and off indoors into automatic security lights that turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. They are clear and bright and appear to be energy efficient as they are LED bulbs. We've been using them for several months and so far we love them and recommend them.
