I bought these because I was directed to them via a link that said "newer model" while browsing through another pair I already have and wanted to buy more . However, the model I own comes with a microphone and they do NOT have one, which is one of the main purposes we use them for. When I tried to return them I was told I would pay a $5.99 restocking fee via the returns page. Overall I DO NOT RECOMMEND them for the price and lack of a mic. For older kids they need a mic and for younger kids I would buy a pair with volume limiters so kids don't use sounds that are too loud for their eardrums which they also don't have. I'm very disappointed and wish Amazon hadn't posted a 'View Newer Model Here' link for something that doesn't even compare to the model you're looking at.
