Review on 💺 HON Volt Armless Task Chair, Stool, Black: Ergonomic and Stylish Office Seating Solution by Jennifer Roberts

Great office chair for my new desk. With my 42 inch tabletop, the chair adjusts to just the right height to kick my butt on and off at will. The only design flaw is the footrest. While the seat can be moved up/down with a simple push of a lever, the footrest stays where it's locked to the support leg. But when the seat goes up/down, so do my legs and feet, so my leg needs support too. Maybe it's a different chair model? Despite it. Hon let down the instruction which contains no useful words just cryptic images. After the footrest got stuck on the pole I had to call Khon (hard to find the right phone number). I needed a rubber mallet and a large wrench to loosen the stuck footrest, after which I was able to start over. A nice lady explained what was not in the instructions, a specific procedure: 1. We put the wheels on the base. 2. Lay the base on the ground. 3. Position the footrest on the base and align the center holes. 4. Insert the stick into the hole in the footrest and then into the hole in the base. 5. Install the seat on the stand. 6. Slide the footrest to the desired position and tighten the latch. Maybe Hon could ask the Chinese manufacturer to put real instructions on the manual? I was amazed at how quickly I received this chair from Revain. I had previously tried three times to purchase a similar chair from Costco.com, but they accepted my order and then canceled it with no reason given. I gave up and bought this Revain chair, very glad I did. BUT, the first chair was delivered in a badly damaged box. There were big words on the box that said it was supposed to be handled a certain way, but apparently it wasn't. The large box was just flimsy cardboard that arrived at my office with ripped holes, one side dented, and the tie band half-peeled. I didn't even open it, I asked Revane to replace it, which happened literally a day later; I sent the damaged box to my local UPS for a Revain return. So, some problems but quickly fixed.
