I feel like this particular shoe was a failed experiment. I love the Zoom Fly series but this one is gone. I agree with one reviewer who felt one boot was half a size too small. I think it's due to the way they had to attach the upper of the shoe to the platform, the material is really weird and would probably puff up or sag if you had more toe room. Yes, the decorative detail comes off very quickly, but I don't care. The only reason I gave this rod a 3 is because it still has the same platform as the carbon rod which I like. I've used other similar models without the carbon fiber insert and they don't compare to those with it. I will continue to use the Zoom Fly model but not this one.
