This Raspberry Pi 4 B Kit from Vilros includes absolutely everything you need to build your Raspberry Pi 4. I highly recommend buying the case and fan kit as the Raspberry Pi 4 B gets very hot due to the increased power. The kit as a whole is excellent, anyone who has ever built a computer or Raspberry Pi will feel right at home and can easily install the heat sink, chipset in the case and connect the fan. This is actually my first Raspberry Pi but I've built plenty of desktops before but the fact that these kits come with no markup is fantastic, it takes the guesswork out of what you need to get started. Installing Raspbian is very easy, NOOBS appears immediately on first boot. The performance of this little guy is impressive, I bought the 2GB model on sale at a regular price of $89.99-$69.99 (cheaper at the time than the 1GB model which was $79.99 and significantly less than the $99.99 4GB model). At $69.99 you really can't beat it, it's only a few dollars more than a standalone 2GB Raspberry Pi 4 B would normally cost! it might annoy some people because it runs so fast, but frankly, its cooling is impressive. I did a little research before buying and found that the heat dissipation of these Pi4s is high, especially with higher level processing, so I didn't have a hard time getting a case with a fan. The transparent case is a nice touch for any nerd or anyone who appreciates the architecture of a well-built chipset. I am NOT strong in computer science/coding and some of these skills are needed for many RaspberryPi applications. . At the same time, it is a relatively cheap, gentle device on which you can learn well. The Raspbian operating system will feel somewhat familiar on a full install, regardless of what regular operating system you're used to, as it has a desktop, start menu, file manager, and recycle bin. While my device is very fast overall, I wonder how much the extra 2GB of RAM would make a difference. My suggestion for others would be the MINIMUM purchase of the 2GB model (especially when it's obviously on sale) but I highly recommend buying a 4GB model so you can ask for more of it in the future as it's better ages. Another thing I do to see if I can improve performance at all is get a better MicroSD card. Don't get me wrong, the microSD card that comes with this kit will do for pretty much anything and everything but I wanted a 64GB card so I went with the Sandisk Extreme Pro which is the best performance of all Pi4 should have (benchmarks are available on the web (pi site). Hopefully this will make it a little faster. Overall this kit is fantastic and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It arrived the same day I ordered it , was well built, well thought out, well designed and works great It's really nice that there's no guesswork as long as you have everything you need as long as you have a keyboard/mouse and keep track of all your inputs. You You're unlikely to find a device with the performance you'll find in this kit in the same price range, so when in doubt, just pull the trigger, and if you've never bought a Pi like I have, just do it to see what you can do with it abilities really are limitless!
