Remains strong after 2 years. Pair this set with rechargeable EBL AA batteries and they will last at least a couple of weeks before needing a recharge (6 hours on / 18 hours off schedule). Don't expect them to light up your entire window as they're only a few inches tall, but you can definitely see them from the outside with a warm white glow. They're small enough to balance on a small windowsill, but are best attached with suction cups. The board works fine.
