Review on πŸ’½ 512GB Samsung Evo Plus Micro SDXC Memory Card by Boyan Panchev ᠌

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

When he acquired a 64 GB card and tried to format it in FAT32, he ran into trouble because he couldn't find FAT32 in the memory card's settings (just exFAT and NTFS). I was really irritated by the "expert's" suggestion that I "format the card in FAT32 format," which came from the firm who originally sold me the DVR's technical assistance. They obviously have no idea what they are talking about and have never handled their device or a memory card larger than 32 GB. FAT32 can be used on 4-32 GB cards without requiring a system reset. Only exFAT and NTFS are supported in 64 GB cards. I was able to find the answer here:? v=WPTgoR9qEZk This video walks you through the steps of using the GUIFORMAT utility to convert an exFAT file system to a FAT32 one. The GUIFORMAT software can be obtained by visiting the office. Visit the SilverStone website (don't freak out if your digital video recorder or other device has a different name; they're all made by the same company). Unlike other device manufacturers, SilverStone thought of its consumers first by providing a tool for formatting memory cards to the chosen system on its website; we used this program and followed the video's instructions to get everything set up. Wow, even a blonde can pull this off!

Pros
  • Everybody knows Samsung! Do not jump to conclusions about the memory card's quality based on the fact that your device does not recognize it or the user is unable to format it in FAT32. This brand's memory cards come in a variety of formats, so this isn't the first of its kind. The cheapskate spends twice as much, and the dunce pays three times as much as they would for a similar product from a different company. I have several other brand's cards that I can't read because I eventually decided to save money. No Samsung memory card has ever failed me, either right away or after extended use (in devices like cameras, smartphones, recorders, and MP3 players that I don't own).
Cons
  • This is not a memory card flaw, but rather the result of our own inexperience and the lack of professionalism displayed by some manufacturers of devices that rely on memory cards larger than 32 GB. The FAT32 file system is not installed by default (only exFAT and NTFS are), so if you need to format your device for use with it, you'll have to do some fancy footwork (Google, help us!) with your tambourines. This explains why some customers have griped about having to buy two separate memory cards. Therefore, I explain in the comments how I successfully formatted it in FAT32 for my DVR. I truly believe this will assist someone.
