Heavy Duty 10mm Ball Studs for Racks
could have been chosen I've tried a few other ball studs and mounts for my 80 lb luggage racks. The ball pin was pressed and screwed into the bracket like a rivet. They were drawn with limited use. They are much sturdier and I installed two pairs of 120lb racks. They are on my 4ft trailer ramp and have been in use for a month and have been used 5 times. They work great with no hiccups.
